Phare conference 2012

Stay tuned via our Tumblr or Twitter!

Hi there!

Last Phare Conference we had a blast! Great speakers, great partners and last but not least: a great audience! We felt everyone was inspired and left with an urge to be part of the future.

That is why we were confident that we could pull off a new edition of Phare Conference.

But boy, were we wrong...

The last weeks it became clear to us that not everyone is fortunate enough to be able to attend Phare Conference.
The crisis and everyone's busy schedule seem to be a bigger hurdle then we anticipated and ticket sales did not go as we expected, as we needed it to be.

A conference like Phare Conference requires a big effort from our team, partners and inevitably, our attendees.
Not only in everyones schedule, but also in their wallets.

Since we did not reach our minimum income to ensure we could pay all partners we are obligated to be truthful to our partners, public and ourselves.

That is why Phare Conference 2012 will not be taking place in the format we intended it to be, and not on the date we planned it.

However, we got the message loud and clear! We will be heads down for the next few weeks rethinking the conference and work out a new format. So, although this sounds like we are throwing in the towel, the opposite is true.
We will take all these challenges head on and present you Phare Conference again. Reinvented, refreshed and better!

As you can imagine, we cannot do this by February 23. So we will refund all tickets purchased and keep you in the loop as we work things out! If you purchased tickets, you will receive a separate mail soon to arrange refunds.

We hope you stick with us because we are passionate about the future of the web and internet as much as you are!

See you all soon!
The Phare Conference team.
